Welcome to my world of wonder, joy, and kinship with the natural world! Through the years that I raised my young children, I cultivated a practice of listening and bearing witness to the wonder of creation. It is a practice that has taught me to really ‘see’ and deeply informs my perspective. I find beauty and humility in both the minutiae and in the grandeur. My belief in Creator God fuels my artistic pursuits as I yearn to imitate and honor the artistry of creation.

My paintings begin with reference photos that I take in situ, have printed, and work from in my studio. I work in oils on canvas and primarily focus on landscapes as my subjects. I love painting large landscapes and hope to continue expanding the sizes of my paintings as I grow as an artist. I do accept commissions on a limited basis.I hold a master’s degree in Art Therapy Counseling which has helped form a foundation for my painting career. 

Working as an artist has always been my deepest ambition and I am deeply grateful to be living my dream as an oil painter.I currently reside in Portland, Oregon where I live with my kids and my dog. Portland is a fantastic home base from which to adventure through the Pacific Northwest and beyond. You are invited to tag along on my adventures as they are captured and depicted in my paintings!
